Tentative 2020 Summer Schedule

JDFSC skaters

Our summer ice will be at the "Q" arena down the hill from the JDF arena in Colwood.
Dates: July 13 - Aug. 14, 2020
Monday to Friday schedule with BC Day (holiday) no ice

Please note:
Your primary coach will notify you as to what Group you may register for.
Skaters must confirm with their primary coach ASAP if they will register and skate the full package
(24 days) or if they wish to be notified if space allows for split/custom packages.

Full package registrations will take priority as we have a limited number of skaters allowed on ice
each session due to the "Return to Play" Guidelines. If you register for full package you Must
skate each day due to these restrictions we have to follow.

All sessions are done by coaches discretion.  The session lists for each group may change due to registrations. We hope to have the fees ready to post in the next few days.  And we hope to have online
registration available soon.

If you have any questions, please email your primary coach (not the JDFSC) as the coaches
 run the summer ice.

For those who are not presently skating June ice, please read all the documents on the website regarding
the Return to Play for Figure Skating. A waiver for this school will need to be filled out and signed by both skater and parent with the paper copy turned in on the first day of this school.  A new waiver must be completed at the start of each new season. Those skating June (spring) ice will need to fill out a new waiver for summer ice.

The health check each day outside the arena will continue to take place as we are doing for June ice, and
the policy of no spectators or parents allowed in the facility will also continue as well, as we have been advised by our Skate Canada BC/YK Section.

The safety of our skaters and coaches MUST be our priority! Looking forward to being able to give the JDFSC (Star 2 and up skaters) the opportunity to skate this summer which is wonderful as many clubs in Canada are still unable to have their skaters back on the ice.

At this time we cannot offer a Learn to Skate Program or our Pre-Star Program.  We hope that in the fall
many more programs may be offered if we can. Stay Well & Stay Safe and follow Dr. Bonnie Henry's orders on Physical Distancing and hand washing to prevent the spread of COVID-19!
