Jenna Kurylo is the Fitness, Weights, and Rehabilitation Coordinator at SEAPARC, where she
teaches a variety of fitness classes in addition to overseeing the fitness and rehabilitation
department. Prior to COVID-19, she owned and operated her own Pilates Studio for over 10
years in Victoria’s Westshore.
Jenna has always led an active lifestyle, competing at the Provincial level Track and Field as
well as playing hockey for the University of Calgary during her Health Science Studies and
Officiating hockey at the intercollegiate level. Today, she enjoys golfing, skiing, and running
road races, with a most recent top 3 finishes in 2022 at the Royal Victoria’s 8km. With a half
marathon PB of 1:26:25, Jenna believes balance in life is the key to leading a happy and healthy
lifestyle.
She first fell in love with Pilates while overcoming a work-related overuse injury as a Registered
Massage Therapist in Alberta in 2004. She found the method STOTT PILATES® of combining a
mind/body connection with a very specific approach to core conditioning to be a perfect fit.
Pilates had made such a positive impact on Jenna, in both her recovery and in furthering her
personal training that she now holds her full STOTT PILATES® Certification: Essential,
Intermediate and Advanced levels for Matwork, Cadillac, Chair, Barrels and Injuries and Special
Populations. She also holds an International Specialty Track Certification for Golf Conditioning
and Pre- and Post-natal.
Jenna has been in the fitness industry for over 20 years with designations as a YMCA Trainer of
Fitness Leaders, a Bellyfit® Master Trainer, a Bender Ball Master Trainer, a YWCA Encore
After Breast Cancer Trainer and she holds current BCRPA Certification in Yoga, Group and
Pilates.
Jenna hopes to share her wide range of knowledge to help others maintain a strong mind & body and assist them in achieving their sport specific, fitness, and post rehabilitative goals while remaining injury free.
