As a formerly competitive and professional figure skater, Chanelle was conditioned to living a healthy and active lifestyle. She realized that to maintain this same balance in her life was becoming more challenging as she grew up. That’s when she decided to pursue a career in the health and wellness coaching industry. After graduating in 2014 from the Pacific Institute of Sports Excellence with a diploma in Sports Performance, Chanelle decided to take her love for health and fitness further and enrolled at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. After completing the advanced program at CSNN and receiving her diploma in Holistic Nutrition, she is now a Registered Holistic Nutritionist, specializing in Sports Nutrition.

Chanelle is also BCRPA certified for group, weight and personal training and enjoys being able to share her passion, knowledge and experience with others to help them reach their optimal health and wellness goals. She believes in an educational approach, whether it's to heal from an illness, achieve a more balanced life or to enhance athletic performance in any sport. Chanelles coaching philosophy is to be a role model for her students and someone they can look up to in their community and provide a positive impact on their lives, both inside and outside of sport. She strives to teach and train each of her students according to their individual needs/goals as a skater and help them develop to their fullest potential and gain confidence in their abilities. She beileves in the power of this sport as more than just figure skating, but for it to be a pathway for any and all life skills moving forward in her skaters' lives.

*Fun Fact: Chanelle is a former pageant queen as Miss British Columbia 1st  runner up and qualified to compete at Miss World Canada in 2010
