Our summer skating program has come to an end. From tiny steps to jumps, twirls, falls and lots of watermelon, the skaters had a great time learning new skills and staying cool in the arena. The learn to skaters moved around the cones and jumped and ducked under noodles. The group A's & B's learned new dance moves and practiced their spins. The Group C's jumped into doubles and sometimes came crashing down, but they always got back up. The Group D's brought their 'A' game and made it all look too easy.
We were so happy to be able to end the summer program with two showcase nights. Skaters were able to perform their solos for friends and family and each group worked on a fun piece to show off to their fans in the audience.
The Board of Directors has been working really hard all summer to solidify the fall schedule and get registration up! We thank everyone who has already registered. Be sure to spread the word about our great program to your friends and family. We still have space so be sure to register before they fill up.
Photo Fundraiser
Photos taken at the showcases and during lessons have been sent out to families. You can purchase these images to share with your family and friends. Proceeds from all sales will be going directly to the skating club. Money raised through fund-raising helps us keep the costs of lessons lower. It helps to pay for the ice time and other fees incurred to run this fabulous program. Be sure to take a look at your photos and order before they are gone!
